Itinerary

DAY 1: HA NOI – SA PA ( - / LUNCH/ DINNER )

13:00: 

Our driver and tour guide will pick you up at the airport or the Hanoi Opera House, then take you to a local restaurant for lunch.

 

14:00: 

Begin the journey to Sa Pa. Along the way, enjoy the changing scenery—from the vibrant rhythm of the city to peaceful countryside views, rolling mountains, and the winding roads so characteristic of Vietnam’s Northwest.

20:00: 

Arrive in Sa Pa in the evening. Enjoy a warm dinner at a local restaurant, featuring comforting dishes perfectly suited to the cool mountain climate.

 


 

DAY 2: FANSIPAN PEAK – O QUY HO PASS (BREAKFAST / - / DINNER)

Explore Sa Pa town at your own pace and enjoy lunch at your own expense.

OPTION 2: Fansipan Peak Experience 

(Ticket at your own expense, book one day before departure)
At 3,147.3 meters (10,326 feet), Fansipan is the highest mountain in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, earning its nickname "The Roof of Indochina." The peak was first summited by a European in 1905.

08:00:  

Transfer to Muong Hoa Funicular Station (ticket at your own expense), one of the most modern mountain railways in Vietnam, nearly 2,000 meters long. Enjoy scenic views of primeval forests and the Muong Hoa Valley along the way.

Cable car journey: Experience the world’s longest three-rope cable car system, covering 6,325 meters in just 20 minutes! This cable car holds two Guinness World Records: the longest three-rope cable car and the greatest altitude difference between departure and arrival stations (1,410 meters). On clear days, you can see panoramic views across three countries.
At around 2,800 m, visit a complex of spiritual temples and immerse yourself in vast, tranquil natural surroundings.


Summit Experience: Continue climbing about 600 stone steps to reach the summit of Fansipan – the “Roof of Indochina.” You may choose the mountain train up and down the peak (optional, at your own expense).

 

12:30: 

Lunch at Sun World Fansipan Legend 

Afternoon:

Continue conquering O Quy Ho Pass – one of the “Four Great Mountain Passes” of Northern Vietnam. Visit Hoang Lien Son ecological area and O Quy Ho Heaven’s Gate. Standing at over 2,000 meters above sea level, enjoy sweeping views of endless mountains, rolling clouds, and dreamlike scenery that truly moves the soul.

Evening: 

Dinner at a local restaurant. Free time to explore Sapa at night and enjoy regional treats such as grilled sweet potatoes and roasted eggs.


 

DAY 3: CAT CAT VILLAGE – STONE CHURCH – HA LONG

8:30: 

Visit Cat Cat Village

The winding road leading to Cat Cat village is bordered on one side by the lush green Muong Hoa Valley with terraced rice fields stretching along the mountain slopes. Along the way, you will encounter the rustic wooden houses of the Hmong people, nestled amidst peaceful nature. The atmosphere here is imbued with the spirit of the mountains and forests, both wild and familiar.

10:30: 

Stone Church 

This is an architectural masterpiece bearing the strong imprint of the old French, located right in the center of the town. The Stone Church is not only a symbol of Sa Pa but also a place where Western culture and the daily life of the local people intersect.

12:00:  

Lunch at a restaurant in Sa Pa.

13:00: 

The driver will pick you up and depart for Ha Long. 

20:00: 

Dinner at a restaurant in Ha Long and stay at Ha Long hotel. 


 

DAY 4: HA LONG BAY CRUISE – HA LONG SUN WORLD (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / -)

7:00: 

Transfer to Ha Long Harbor

9:00: 

Board the Ha Long Cruise: Enjoy a 7-hour cruise exploring the world-famous bay aboard the Cruise, offering premium facilities and top-tier service.

  • Discover Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave) – the largest cave in Ha Long Bay, covering over 10,000 square meters and adorned with million-year-old stalactites and stalagmites.

Visit Sun World Ha Long:

Here, you guys can enjoy freely many activities and have dinner on your own. Some must-see activities include:

  • Queen Cable Car: Glide high above the city on one of the world’s most impressive cable car systems, holding two Guinness World Records—the largest cabin (up to 230 passengers) and the tallest cable car tower at 188.88 meters.

  • Japanese Garden: Wander through a peaceful Japanese-style garden featuring red Torii gates, koi ponds, wooden bridges, bonsai trees, and carefully arranged rock landscapes.

  • Sun Eye Observation Wheel: End the day with a ride on the Sun Eye, enjoying sweeping views of Ha Long at sunset as the city lights slowly come alive.

Ba Dinh Square – Presidential Palace – One Pillar Pagoda:

A complex deeply connected to Vietnam’s history, politics, and spiritual life. Ba Dinh Square is a solemn, open space where President Ho Chi Minh proclaimed Vietnam’s Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945. The square can accommodate up to 20,000 people and remains a key venue for major national ceremonies.

Nearby stands the Presidential Palace, once the workplace and residence of President Ho Chi Minh. The building features elegant French colonial architecture, surrounded by lush gardens that create a calm, refined atmosphere. Just a short walk away, the One Pillar Pagoda rises gracefully from a lotus pond, shaped like a blooming lotus flower—an enduring symbol of peace, purity, and spiritual balance.

15:30: 

Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the oldest and most sacred pagodas in Hanoi, is beautifully situated on a small island on West Lake. With over 1,500 years of history, the pagoda showcases traditional Vietnamese Buddhist architecture, highlighted by its striking red stupa and serene lakeside setting,

16:30: 

Stroll through the 36 Old Streets: Streets steeped in traditional crafts, preserving the ancient charm amidst the bustling life unique to Hanoi.
Pass by Hoan Kiem Lake – the heart of the capital, associated with many legends and historical stories. The curved, red-painted The Huc Bridge leads to Ngoc Son Temple, a symbol of the harmonious beauty between nature and spiritual architecture of Hanoi.
